To add a little bit more information, i have a alfa 166 whit a 2.0 twin spark engine, with 289k km, and this engine start to beat up, make weird. I am guessing that the 2.0 was a 4 cylinder and you want to swap to a v6. I'm just not excited about the original engine.

As somewhat of an alfa fan, i say go for it i can't really offer too much in the way of advice but i have seen complete s2k engine/tranny/driveshaft/rearends on ebay for around $4000. I am guessing that the 2.0 was a 4 cylinder and you want to swap to a v6. Alfa lloyd swap(purists be warned).
